You were planning to give a live presentation to your colleagues, but it turns out you can’t because everyone is suddenly confined to their homes. Sound familiar?
Don't worry! Using Explain Everything Whiteboard, you can broadcast everything you wanted to say and show in real time so everyone who was supposed to attend your presentation can do so as planned…and the show can go on.
Broadcast directly from your device
In this scenario, your tablet is used both for conferencing and whiteboarding. This is the quickest and easiest way to enhance conference call with visuals!
Step 1: Start a conference call.
Step 2: Share your whiteboard with everyone on the call by tapping Share and then Broadcast. Everything on your screen will be recorded while broadcasting.
Power tip: Broadcasting a whiteboard from a tablet cuts off your camera by default. But no worries, you can add a live video object to the whiteboard canvas and transmit your front camera view that way! Just tap Add Media and then Video. There you are! You can move your frame around or scale it with the Hand tool to get it just as you want it.
Broadcast from your computer with a whiteboard in a browser
In this scenario, you use your computer to carry the conference and your tablet as the dedicated device for adding an additional visual layer to your presentation. This is the perfect setup for pro-grade conferencing!
Step 1: Use your tablet to prepare visual materials and start a cloud project. Again, this can be done by tapping Add Media and selecting what you need.
Step 2: Connect to the cloud project from your computer.
Step 3: When on the conference, share the browser window so others can see your whiteboard.
Alternately, you can share connection code if you want others to contribute to your whiteboard. To do this, tap Invite and then share the link via email or any other communicator installed on your device to allow others to contribute to the canvas.
Pro tip: You can connect your tablet to a computer with a cable to have visuals not from your browser, but straight from your tablet screen. Keep in mind, however, that this is a doable but more complex scenario, as third-party software is needed, along with with a different computer-tablet configuration.
This next setup requires third-party applications.
