To freely move around the canvas use Zoom and Pan.
You also use Zoom and Pan to guide collaboration Participants. Whenever you move with Zoom and Pan during collaboration, everyone who follows you will be taken to where you are in the project and they will see what you see on their screens. Learn more about following in collaboration.
Zoom and Pan basics
- Zoom and Pan control your view as well as a view of participants that follow you.
- Select the Zoom and Pan tool, and select it again to “reset zoom” and fit all content to the screen. You can also double-tap or double-click on the empty space of the canvas to do that.
- Double-tap or double-click on an object or a group of objects to fit the zoom to them.
Recording with Zoom and Pan
- By default, Zoom and Pan controls which part of the canvas gets captured during recording. What you see on the screen will be present in the exported video, image, or document.
- You can detach the Camera Frame to move it independently from Zoom with the Camera Frame toggle. Learn more about controlling the camera frame.
Move around or zoom in and out on the canvas
Select Zoom and Pan to move around the canvas or zoom in and out on it.
- Use one finger to move around the canvas.
- Use the reverse pinch gesture to zoom in on the canvas.
- Use the pinch gesture to zoom out on the canvas.
With a touchscreen
- Use one finger to move around the canvas.
- Use the reverse pinch gesture to zoom in on the canvas.
- Use the pinch gesture to zoom out on the canvas.
With a mouse
- Click and drag the canvas to move around it.
- Use the mouse scroll to zoom in and out on the canvas.
With a touchpad
- Click and drag the canvas to move around it.
- Swipe with two fingers up or down to zoom in or out on the canvas.
