You can easily share and export your project as a video as well as an image or a document. When saving your project as a document, it will become a PDF file. A project that you want to convert to an image will convert to the .png format if you use Explain Everything with Android or Chromebook systems. In the case of iPads and iPhones, you can choose between .jpg or .png formats.

Export project as a document locally
- Select the Share button.
- Select Export.
- Choose the Document format.
- Swipe down the list and select Save to Files.
- Select preferred local folder or create a new one.
- Select Save.
Note You won’t be able to export a cloud project as a document. In order to do so, download your project first, open it and then follow the instructions.

Note You won’t be able to export a cloud project as an image. In order to do so, download your project first, open it and then follow the instructions.
- Select the Share button.
- Select Export.
- Choose the Image format.
- Select the Upload to Photos option.
- Select Upload.
- Select Cancel to leave the Export panel.

Open your cloud project in Explain Everything on an Android or iOS device and follow the steps for those versions.

Save project as a document or an image in a cloud or share them with applications
Instead of saving a project as a document or an image locally, you can share it instantly with others or send it to an external cloud storage space.

A bunch of apps, LMS and cloud integrations allow you to send your Explain Everything exported projects directly to other applications and clouds.
- Select the Share button.
- Select Export.
- Choose the Document or Image format.
- Select an application you’d like to share your file with.
- Follow the instructions provided by the application you chose and finish the action accordingly.
Note If you’d like to save your document or image in iCloud, follow the instructions of Exporting a project to your local folder. When you select Save to Files, choose the iCloud folder.

Set format for exported images (iOS only)
By default, your project will be saved as a JPG on your iPad or iPhone if you choose to export it as an image. Follow the instructions to change it to PNG.
- Go to Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Open the Export tab.
- Go to the IMAGE field.
- Toggle File format from JPG to PNG or vice versa.
Choose exported PDF document quality (iOS only)
You can choose the quality level of exported documents.
- Go to Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Open the Export tab.
- Go to the PDF DOCUMENTS field.
- Toggle Quality between Average, Good and Best.
